Water Shortage Warning declared

The St. Johns River Water Management District, which oversees water use for our region, has issued a Water Shortage Warning for our area. This is because recent water levels and expected rainfall show that water supplies may become limited throughout the district.

They are asking everyone to voluntarily use less water and practice water conservation. The city of Fernandina Beach is also asking customers to help reduce water use during this time.
