The Taste of Amelia is expanding this fall from its popular culinary crawl into a three-day celebration of food, wine, spirits, history, and Amelia Island hospitality. The Taste of Amelia Weekend, Oct. 23-25, 2026, will offer visitors and locals a variety of experiences designed to make Amelia Island the destination for a memorable fall weekend.
The weekend begins Friday with two signature experiences: a Sunset Pirate Voyage along the Amelia River or an evening at A1A Marlin & Barrel Craft Distillery, featuring premium spirit tastings, a tour of the working distillery, a handcrafted cocktail demonstration by Paul Lore, and food pairings.
Saturday afternoon features the centerpiece of the weekend, the Taste of Amelia Culinary Crawl. Guests will stroll Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach while sampling signature dishes from participating local restaurants. The popular event has been a perennial sellout.
Saturday evening, guests will enjoy an exclusive ZD Wines Premium Tasting at a downtown rooftop venue, featuring acclaimed Napa Valley wines from the Silverado Trail paired with artisan charcuterie and chef-inspired food selections.
The weekend concludes Sunday with brunch and a special program at the Amelia Island Museum of History, featuring a tour and narrated stories exploring the island's rich and fascinating past.
“Taste of Amelia is about much more than great food,” said Bob Pollock, President of the Fernandina Beach Rotary Club. “We want visitors to experience the restaurants, history, culture and hospitality that make Amelia Island special while creating an event that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of local students.”
Pollock added, “This weekend would not be possible without the continued generosity of our sponsors, donors, restaurants and community partners. Their support helps us turn great experiences into educational opportunities for Nassau County students.”
Presented by the Fernandina Beach Rotary Club, Taste of Amelia raises funds for education and scholarships for Nassau County students.
Visitors are encouraged to make a weekend of it by enjoying Amelia Island’s restaurants, historic downtown, accommodations, and attractions while participating in Taste of Amelia events.
