I thought this day would come.
Being an optimist, I really thought it would be May or even June. But this is the time when my friends must worry about their Social Security, VA benefits or even their private information.
This is the time when my grandchildren’s friend may come down with Measles or the flu and end up in the hospital.
So, I will tell what my plan is.
I promise I will not say “I told you so.” I know many of my friends will be so inclined, but that is not the answer. Rather it is a question and it is simple.
I plan to only say “AND.” It infers everything. One does not even have to complete the possible sentences. Such as “what are you going to do about it” or “what did you expect.”
Some will bury their head in the sand and pretend it is okay until it hits their parents or their children, or their grocery bill. But even the most obtuse will know.
By the way, eggs have doubled and gas is not $2 a gallon and have you seen the price of a Maxwell House coffee.
