“The Librarians”

Libraries continue to be highly regarded by citizens for trust and financial stewardship, so why are public libraries a victim of the culture wars?
In Nassau County, the Bryceville Branch Library is closing and hours are cut back at other branch library locations.

Join us for this 85-minute documentary film, where we learn from librarians across the U.S. how restrictions on library content are shaping communities. As we mark Banned Books Week (Oct. 4-10) and Library Card Sign-Up Month (September), let’s discuss the growing role of public libraries in the age of technology and AI.

Donations will benefit the Fernandina Beach Friends of the Library.
