The Rocky Horror Show returns to Amelia Musical Playhouse

For the thirteenth time, the cult classic "The Rocky Horror Show" will return to the Amelia Musical Playhouse Oct. 10, 11, 17 and 18. All Shows are at 7:30 p.m.

"The Rocky Horror Show" is a musical with music, lyrics, and a book by Richard O'Brien. It later became even more famous as the 1975 film adaptation, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." The plot follows Brad and Janet, a young engaged couple, whose car breaks down on a stormy night. They stumble into the strange mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a flamboyant mad scientist from another planet who is creating a man named Rocky.The evening spirals into outrageous antics, wild songs, and themes of freedom, sexuality, and self-expression.

Costumes are encouraged, and prop bags will be available for sale.

The Show is R-rated.
