Meet celebrity chefs and learn about their food stories growing up, foods trends, and what we can learn from other food traditions. After the conversation on stage, the chefs will be available to autograph copies of their books.
Appetizers will be prepared from the chef’s books and copies will be available for purchase.

Chef Ron Hsu, Lazy Betty
Atlanta native Ron Hsu is Chef-Owner of Michelin-starred Lazy Betty. Before opening his acclaimed restaurant, Hsu served as Creative Director at Eric Ripert’s three Michelin-starred Le Bernardin in New York and competed on Netflix’s The Final Table. Chef Ron’s new cookbook is Down South + East: A Chinese American Cookbook. The cookbook blends the flavors, traditions, and hospitality Southern cuisine with the Chinese and Taiwanese influences of his family.
Chef Sarah Thomas, Kalamata’s Kitchen
Sarah Thomas is an accomplished Advanced Sommelier who worked at Le Bernardin in New York and later co-founded Kalamata’s Kitchen. She is best known for authoring the children’s book Kalamata’s Kitchen. The series uses food, travel, and storytelling to introduce children to different cultures and cuisines. Sarah Thomas has described the project as a way to combine her passions for food, hospitality, and literature.
