Friends of the Library and Amelia Island Opera join to offer a program featuring history, heroes, and high notes, Thursday, July 24 at 6 p.m. Enjoy live musical excerpts from beloved masterpieces La Boheme, La Traviata, and Carmen. Victoria Isernia, co-founder of Amelia Island Opera, shares a journey through the unique history of opera, from baroque to La Boheme and Bernstein. Discover Florida’s ties to legends like Sutherland and Pavarotti and the Florida Grand Opera.
