A large aircraft hangar at the airport on Amelia Island will be transformed into a live music venue on Saturday night, March 8. The best tools of modern performance production will create a first-class concert setting for HangarPalooza with a limited number of tickets for sale.
HangarPalooza’s headliner is the Los Angeles-based Queen tribute band, Bohemian Queen. Their musical performance showcases the best of Queen’s songs, with special effects lighting and multiple costume changes completing the transformation. Amelia Island’s favorite local band, The Honey Badgers, will add their unique blend of classic rock, pop and R&B to the evening’s musical performance.
Assigned seats, corporate tables and VIP seats will fill the hangar event space. A large tent will cover the general admission seating area outside the hangar. Food trucks and mobile bar stations will be set up around the venue, offering food and drinks throughout the evening.
All proceeds from HangarPalooza will be given to the following local charities: Nassau Humane Society, Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County, Friends of Fernandina Aviation and Experimental Aviation Association local chapter 943.
The event entrance will be at 3243 Bailey Road, next to the Ybor Alvarez Sports Complex. Gates open for general admission at 5:30 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets, please go to HangarPalooza.
