Broadway, Beethoven & Brews – Story & Song – July 18

This special event features John Tibbetts, baritone/artistic director of Amelia Opera, and Geoffrey Loff, Associate Conductor of Komische Opera Berlin.

Featuring beloved Broadway classics, Beethoven’s monumental "An die ferne Geliebte," and dazzling Gershwin piano transcriptions, the program blends the warmth of classic American song with the richness and passion of the European music tradition.

Audiences can expect an evening filled with nostalgia, storytelling, virtuosic piano playing, and some of the most memorable melodies ever written, from Broadway favorites to the emotional depth and beauty of Beethoven’s celebrated song cycle.

The “brews” portion of the evening invites audiences to relax, enjoy a beer, and a special program on Story & Songs’ intimate second floor.
