Amelia Musical Playhouse presents “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” the 1961 Tony Award-winning musical that also won the 1962 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This satirical comedy follows J. Pierrepont Finch, a window washer who rises to a high-powered executive with the help of a trusty handbook. Along the way, he tackles office politics, backstabbing colleagues, and a search for true love.

Featuring a score by Frank Loesser with hits like “I Believe in You,” “Brotherhood of Man,” and “The Company Way,” the show is a humorous, heartwarming, and socially sharp satire of the corporate world.

The show stars an ensemble cast led by talented performers, including roles that have been famously played by Robert Morse, Matthew Broderick, Ralph Macchio, and Daniel Radcliffe.

"How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” is written by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert. It is based on the book by Shepherd Mead and features music and lyrics by Frank Loesser. Bill Ivins directs the production, and Mary Williams provides musical direction. Kristin Bean coordinates the choreography, Donna Lewis designed the costumes, and Gregg Dillingham created the sets.

There will be eight performances: April 24-27 and May 1-4. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for students (18 and under) and are available online at 904TIX, or you can call the box office at: 904-277-3455.
