Amelia Opera announces fall/winter schedule – Postcards From the Stage

Amelia Island Opera announces its six main events for its fifth season – Postcards From the Stage. The season will feature returning favorites and collaborations with the Amelia Community Theatre, Plantation Chapel, and the Story & Song Concert Series, showcasing beloved operatic hits and Old Hollywood classics, as well as powerful performances by divas and divos, an internationally acclaimed choral ensemble, and a never-before-seen operatic pairing in the final offering.

A Night at the Opera – Viennese Masked Ball

Back by popular demand, A Night at the Opera invites guests to wear masks and formal attire for a night of true elegance. Presented by Amelia Island Opera and the Amelia Community Theatre.

November 1, 2025 – 6:30 p.m. hors d'oeuvres, 7:30 p.m. concert

Story & Song Concert Series – The Telephone/Craigslistlieder

A performance of Cian Carlo Menotti's The Telephone and Gabriel Kahane's Craigslistlieder. Local favorite Bill Ivins coordinates the combining of the two works, offering a comic, clever, and refreshingly modern take on love in the wired world – where connection is just a ring or click away.

VOCES8 at the Amelia Plantation Chapel

The famed VOCES8 comes to Amelia Island. The internationally renowned British vocal ensemble will perform live in concert. Their performances are known for both musical precision and emotional depth — a collaboration between the Amelia Island Singers, the Amelia Island Chapel, and Amelia Island Opera.

A Operatic Double Bill – Trouble in Tahiti & Signor Bruschino

An unforgettable evening of musical drama and comedic brilliance with the double bill of Leonard Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti and Gioachino Rossini's Il Signor Bruschino. The double bill will be woven together by acclaimed opera director Scott Skiba and the orchestra led by Maestro Keith Chambers.

May 22, 2027 – 7 p.m.

Now in their fifth season, Amelia Opera (AIO) is an artist-led company founded in 2021 by opera singers Victoria Isernia, Robyn Marie Lamp, and John Tibbetts II. The three founders recognized a need to create opportunities not only for themselves but also for other world-class emerging artists.
